Meet Heidi
I’m just a mouthy Vegas girl with opinions I somehow convinced people to pay me for.

Against the expectations of both my critics and, frankly, myself, I’m now in my 28th year in broadcasting.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, I stumbled into radio after years of being told I should probably take my opinions somewhere else. Before broadcasting, I collected a wide range of life experiences — from HR (which confirmed I was never meant for office life) to professional singing (far more fun), and even cocktail waitressing in one of the largest hotel-casinos in the world. That experience eventually inspired one of my books.

As a conservative Christian raised in Sin City — yes, the irony is not lost on me — I’ve spent years happily swimming against the cultural current. I’m known for my strong opinions on politics, culture, faith, and personal responsibility, and I’ve never been especially interested in saying what I’m “supposed” to say. Poking political bears has become something of a hobby.

I’ve appeared hundreds of times as a commentator on FOX News, CNN, MSNBC, and other national outlets, where I perfected the art of squeezing complicated truths into three-minute television segments.

Over the years, I’ve been named multiple times to Talkers Magazine’s “Heavy Hundred” list of the Most Influential Talk Show Hosts in America, received two Electronic Media Awards, been honored as one of Nevada’s Distinguished Women, and was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

I’m the author of two books:
Don’t Pat Me on the Head: Blowback, Setbacks and Comebacks in Vegas Radio and Cocktail Waitress Wisdom: Lessons Learned While Carrying a Tray in Las Vegas.

I’ve been married to a man far better than I deserve for nearly 25 years.
